We are very excited to announce that Cardiff Commercial Services have our first electric waste collection vehicle!

This smaller collection vehicle will be used around the city centre in a new waste collection trial with the aim of improving air quality and minimising the impact of seagulls.

Initially only the businesses around Mill Lane will be included in this trial, with information due to be sent out to the relevant businesses shortly. We are hoping this will shorten the length of time that your waste is out on the pavement, meaning the seagulls have less opportunity to make a mess with your waste.

If successful this vehicle could be used throughout the city centre, which will result in a more efficient waste collection service, helping to make Cardiff a cleaner, tidier and happier place.
